Always an A+ experience 2/14/2011

We have been taking our cats to Wickaboag since 2007 and we have never had anything but wholly positive experiences. Dr. Blanton treats our cats with the the same care and affection that she would treat her own pets. The entire staff is friendly and professional and the examining rooms are always clean. Would recommend without hesitation! more

Vet care at Wickaboag 11/6/2010

We have not boarded our dog at Wickaboag, although we almost did once recently so it is good to get the scoop. More importantly, we have had the good luck to meet Dr. King. He is so wonderful with our dog and such a smart, sensitive vet. This man is the real thing--watch him look at and handle your dog (or any other animal). He loves dogs, but is able to stand back and take a careful, scientific look at your pet. He also is very practical and understands that most normal people cannot spend a million dollars. Wickaboag is so lucky to have him (and so are we!!). more

Excellent Hospital with a very knowledgable staff! 10/7/2009

I have been going to Wickaboag for over 2years since moving to the area. I love it there. The doctors are wonderful, not once have i felt like they didn't know what was going on. The staff is very caring and seem to always greet my pets (my dogs or my cats) like they've known them forever. I did kennel my dogs there once on short notice. The kennels are what i would expect from a vet clinic offering boarding. I'm not sure what the other reviewers expect, but Wick isn't a boarding facility. I know personally i am very happy to know that my vet can have my animal in hospital if needed. I recommend every one i can to this clinic and they are just as (if not more) pleased with Wickaboag Vet Clinic and their wonderful staff. Pros: A++ Staff and location Cons: busy business more

the truth 8/16/2009

the other reviewer was telling the truth. if you ask to see the kennels, you will see that they are not kept clean. when i went there, there were very big dogs in tiny crates. it was my mistake to leave my dog there, after seeing it wasnt kept clean, but i was in a jam and had to make my plane. so i blame myself a little, since i left him there after seeing the conditions were not as described. upon picking my dog up, i asked to speak to a doctor because of the condition of my dogs skin. i was waiting in an exam room, and i could hear them talking outside the door about personal business. you can hear the staff talking through the doors and they were swearing and also talking badly about customers and their pets. i could hear one girl call someone a d****bag. when i i brought my dog into to boarding, i dont know what they were feeding him, though i brought his own food (he has skin allergies). when i came back to pick him up, the bag was almost entirely full and his skin was a mess. i asked to speak to the head of the kennel, and he is very unprofessional. i would not recommend this place to anyone. Pros: it's local Cons: paying $$$$$$ too much for subpar care more

If you only read one review- it should be this one! 7/30/2009

I am new in town and needed a vet. From the out side the place seemed nice enough. They take you down stairs and show you the nice little dogruns they keep the dogs in. Seems OK. But I found out they take the dogs and put them in crates as soon as you leave. Nice huh! They don't show you how they really keep the Dogs. My dog smelled so bad when I came back to pick him up that I could not stand to be in the car with him. I was glad to be away from that horrible Place. That is when the real problems started. I had boarded my pup for two weeks, and he was just fine when I left him. When we were driving home he started to cough and hack, his nose was running he was sick! Well I turned the car around and went straight back. I was speaking with a Dr. King.(The Owner) This man is arrogant and pompous to say the very least. He would not treat my dog although it got sick in his care! I spent hundred of dollars getting dog over kennel cough. I will never take another animal there and will do my very best to warn others! Please stay away! Pros: Over priced and crappy care Cons: Worst care ever! more
