Most compassionate staff ever 7/28/2008

VCA West Mesa is the best vet clinic I have ever taken my pets to. Making an appointment was easy and getting in to see the vet was a breeze. Although my family is on a limited budget, the value to cost was worth the trip. My veterinarian (my first visit and I have forgotten his name... sorry) was knowledgeable and straight to the point. I consider my dogs like children and he took the time to allow me to ask questions (some of them probably silly) and I went away feeling like I understood the course of action for my pets' health until time to come back next year. Great vets---compassionate and professional 2/7/2008

Our aged lab was a frequent visitor. Always treated with kindness and given options for her care. She has since had to be put down, but our new dog will be a patient there as well.\r \r We were never asked to do things that were out of line,either medically or financially.\r \r Gone to many vets over the years and they are the best. more

Not recommended.... 11/30/2005

...mainly because of this particular veternarian. He was short, snippy, and very arrogant. I am a medical professional & he assumed I knew certain things (which I did) - but, just breezed over the issues at hand & attempted to get our 12 year old dog nearly a thousand dollars worth of services - which, really werent needed. We went nearly 6 months ago & are dog has recovered from what, he said, was not recoverable. After a little research on my own - I found more useful information on the internet. I got the feeling he was just trying to get us to pay a "bill" for him! PROS: Decent value for price for visits (if that matters) CONS: Costly services "pushed" when unneeded more

We invite you to visit our 7,000 sq ft AAHA accredited facility for a tour and to meet our welcoming staff and veterinarians. Our caring and skilled veterinarians provide well pet and sick pet services, for puppies & kittens, adult dogs & cats, and senior pets. Our services include physical exams, vaccines, including weekly Preventative Care vaccine Clinics (Thursdays); spay, neuter, and pet dental care; surgeries, hospitalization, digital radiography, laboratory testing, acupuncture, soft tissue/orthopedic surgery and ultrasound.
