My 10 month old German Shepherd Puppy brought to VCA ANIMAL HOSPITAL in ROSWELL GEORGIA with a slightly dislocated hip is now an amputee due to their egregious error.\r \r Jessica Corley D.V.M. Wrapped it too tight cutting off blood flow.\r Roper D.V.M. Director of the facility rechecked the wrap when I showed concern at the dogs discomfort level 2 days later removed it from the foot & cut slits in the hip. \r HE ASSURED ME IT WAS FINE. \r IT WAS NOT. more

I adopted a dog from the humane society and took him here for shots. Yes they are extremely friendly but they also are money hungry! I was told that my dog had puppy acne which later found out was demodex And after five hundred dollars of going back an forth trying to clear it up I still had to take him to another vet to clear it up. On top of that they have him a shot that was supposed to ensure that once it finally did get cleared up it would not come back well.... Not even a month later it's back.... I Will not be taking my dog back EVER again more

When the clinic was owned by the doctors it was first rate with exceptional staff and reasonable prices. When VCA purchased the business it went downhill. Most all of the prior staff are gone because of management's policies. Their prices are sky high in many cases for less than desirable treatment/care. They clearly are in business for profit . They little concern for the patient's needs. Your choice but I would seek care elsewhere. more

WONDERFUL, CARING STAFF 5/30/2012

I have been going here with our two dogs since we moved here from Ohio four years ago. This was recommended to me highly by several friends. The staff couldn't be more attentive, caring and knowlegable. The day after each visit for even a basic checkup, I always receive a followup call from the veterinarian to check on my dogs. The care here far exceed that which my pets have gotten anywhere else in 20 years. I have never taken the time to write a review before, but everytime I see other's comments when I do a Goggle search I have wanted to share my experience as it is so drastically different than others. I want to say that I have never boarded my dogs and that I believe there have been significant staff changes in the last several years. Pros: null Cons: null more

Will NEVER go back 10/26/2009

The staff is very nice, but it hardly makes up for being charged outrageous prices for pet care. I took my two dogs in for rabies shots and it cost me $180. One of my dogs had an accident in the exam room and I was charged $5 per dog for them to clean it up (even though only one had an accident). If I had known they would charge me I would have gladly cleaned it myself. They also charged me an additional $16 to trim one of my dogs nails. I will never return to this establishment for my pets' health care. Pros: nice staff Cons: outrageous charges more

Great animal care 9/10/2009

I had to board my dogs recently but their shots were a month overdue. The kennel called this place for me, and made a same day appointment. The receptionist was very nice and helped me get my three dogs out of the car. The doctor was also nice, and seemed like she cared about my dogs. She asked lots of questions concerning my older dog's behavioral changes. The doctor called a day or two later to make sure I got them boarded okay, and called about a week later to check on my youngest dog's skin and ear problems. Nice place 9/13/2008

Nice place. Friendly staff.\r \r Not our usual vet but were willing to assist us during an emergency when we couldn't find any other help. I really appreciate that. They were also very gentle in handing my babies. The facility also seemed clean and professional. If I didn't like my usual vet (cat clinic of roswell) so much I'd definitely go here. more

What happened to this place? 9/9/2007

Man, this clinic used to be rocking and busy all the time. It seems that since a corporate entity took over, that the response to client need and the showing of animal care has flew the coop. Most of the staff from even just a year ago is gone. The doctors are gone...kennell care takers have changed. The service is now very poor. What happened? I know this was a well respected hospital in not only Georgia, but the entire Southeast...but now it is become a poor quality hospital. The vets there are uncaring and now only numbered to just two. This former booming clinic used to pack over 8 doctors on their business cards, so seeing someone was a fast process. This place went from good/great to really bad in a very short time more
