There staff was relatively friendly and helpful, a little pretentious. Upon arrival we were told that the visit to talk to a dr was $130, after the dr examined my ossicat, I was told it could be cancer, which horrified me and they gave me an estimate to remove the growth on her bottom lid. That estimate was for (hold on to your seat) $1,800 to $2,400 depending on if they had to do more extensive work after they looked at the growth when my cat was on the table. After examing her they found that the growth was a cyst and that the removal would cost the same as above. Personally, I believe that I was over charged - so if you go take all your credit cards with you - YOU WILL NEED THEM ALL to pay for services there. By the way, this was my second visit and had my vet not told me to go there the second time I would have never gone to them. more

Agree never take your pet here 7/22/2007

I have had alot of experience trying to find a good vet in AZ, forget about this place, if you go there, you will come home but your pets won't.\r 2 of my shelties died under their "care" within 2 weeks of one another.\r First, they told me Danny had an auto-immune diease (he didn't), put him on meds that made him worst, he collapsed I took him in as an emergency, told them to do every single test ( I am a certified technician, and know what tests needed to be done) they would not, they did one test one day and said he would have the others the next day, etc ( when a dogs gums are white, think shock people - a life threatening emergency) they put him in a oxygen cage and he died (they made him so toxic from the meds he died) then Tommy got sick one night, was perfectly fine til that night with nowhere to go (he needed fluids from vomiting and it was summer) I went back they told me his kidneys failed ( in one night - from a dog with no kidney BUN and Creatine were always normal) I told t more

NEVER TAKE AN ANIMAL TO THIS CLINIC 5/29/2007

This clinic is all about money. My dog was killed by their emergency vet, who is now the director of their new emergency clinic - he wasn't skilled enough to do surgery and he cut a vein and she bled to death. It was all about money. I think it was also about getting more practice with surgery. It is all too clear. He was so eager to cut open my dog. He hung out in the clinic hours after his shift was over and kept pushing to do a surgery that could have waited 3 or 4 hours for the regular surgeon and a sonagram to know what was really going on. He used my grief over her condition to convince me it was the best thing for her. It wasn't. She would still be with us today if not for him. He was told to wait until family arrived at the clinic and the second he had my credit card number, he whisked her off without telling me and the next thing I knew she was dead. NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS CLINIC. more

Always Upcharging 4/5/2007

These people are liars always adding to your bill my first visit went from 74 to 275. And I was like ?I must have heard them wrong? the visit jumped 100$ plus the added a doctors visit on it, I let that one go. Now when I went back for a dewclaw my 254 estimate jumped to 375 for the exact thing I had asked for only one week prior these people are VERY DISHONEST wont even honor there own quotes LIARS, then when I asked for my original estimate back for proof they conveniently lost it in the 10min that I was there. This is the worst vet I have ever been to!!!!!!!!! more

Good vet 8/20/2005

They have vets that specialize in speciality animals. I only use this vet for my ferrets as I would want someone who has the experience with them. This vet can be kinda pricey compared to other vets but then you are willing to pay more for a vet that specializes in your pet expecially if your pet is like family. They also run an emergency hospital which is great if you need a vet in the middle of the night as they are 24 hrs. The cost isnt to bad for a 24 hr vet. more
