I take my dog to FS and have met a lot of the doctors there. I do have to say that I like Dr Trudeau the best! Dr Coin is a good vet but not very personable with the animals and very bad manners! more

Trudeau L Dvm - Forest South Animal Hospital 9/17/2009

Dr. Trudeau has been our family vet for all the 18 years she has been associated with Forest South Animal Hospital. Besides being an exceptional vet and surgeon, on top of the latest developments in veterinary medicine, she is compassionate, caring and treats each animal as if it were her own. Over the years she has provided excellent care and emotional support when it was time for some of our beloved pet family members to pass on. On occasion when we needed to take a pet to the vet and Dr. Trudeau was not available, we found the vet on duty to be knowledgeable, caring and provide excellent care. The support staff is always courteous and caring and the facilities are spotless. My poor cat 3/28/2009

We brought our indoor cat here for the first time for a groom. They said she was frisky and needed to be sedated, and she died. She was 3 years old with no health problems. If only they would have warned us or told us of possible side effects to sedation, we would have never taken the risk. Afterwards we were told that this sort of thing happens quite often with cats. Unbelievable. more

I have heard wonderful things about this clinic and would take my babies there anytime. They pay attention to EACH of the animals, they are not numbers there! more

FOREST SOUTH ANIMAL HOSPITAL 9/7/2008

I have worked at and used FSAH for the past 20 yrs. Dr Coyne is an outstanding Veterinarian with a well-trained and compassionate staff. His Hospital has state-of-art equipment: digital-imaging x-rays, heated OR tables, heart & pulse monitors, Ultra-sound and Laser surgery. He has access to and uses specialists who come in and do heavy Orthopedic surgery and echocardiograms. He is never offended by requests for second opinions and is happy to make appointments at Unversities and specialist hospitals if the problem outstrips his expertise.\r He does not have appointments, is open7 days a week with short hours on Sunday, because dogs have problems on weekends, too. He has Medical and Surgical wards, does Boarding and Grooming.\r This is a man who, after many years in the field, is still excited about Veterinary Medicine, and who gives everything he has to helping your dog or cat. more

Cat Grooming 11/8/2005

I always use this facility to groom my cat. I do not use their Vet services (I use a Vet closer to home), but I can say that they do an excellent job of giving my cat a great hair-cut. I've actually been in the backroom (chaperone on a field trip) and it's very clean and sanitary back there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a wonderful place. more
