If you have a dog and are in Mid City/Culver City/West LA, I really want to recommend Dr. Werber. I have never even had one of my own doctors be as genuinely concerned about my own well being as this vet was with my dog. I'm really surprised with some of the bad reviews here. Yes, I probably waited 30 to 40 minutes past my appointment time (although I did have to fill out new patient paperwork and have my dog's records faxed from my previous vet) before being seen. However, Dr. Werber proceeded to spend the better part of an hour with me and my dog making sure his diagnosis and prescription was right. My dog had been having some very serious seizures. I would have waited for an entire day, however, to get the kind of treatment that I received at this vet. My dog is a good friend and family member to me, so to complain about a wait or this vet not being the least expensive to me seems silly. Would we say that about a doctor's visit for our child? He addressed every one of my concerns, explained my dog's history (which he got from my other vet) in a way that my other vet never had, and even picked up his mobile and called a colleague who was an expert ON THE SPOT when I raised concerns about a particular treatment (to make sure it was safe and appropriate). My dog is a pit bull mix who is very skiddish around new people and particularly dislkes vets. By the time we left, Dr. Werber was kneeling down petting my dog (my dog even let the doctor put his hands in his mouth) and my dog was loving it. When the doctor stood up, my dog laid down at his feet. This is a man who you can instantly tell really knows his stuff and absolutely loves animals and what he does. The office staff both on the phone and in the office were friendly and professional. The office itself is the nicest veterinary facility I have ever been in: up to date equipment; bright and comfortable
