On my way to the dog park, I found a starving kitty a few hundred yards from VCA. I walked into VCA holding the crying, weak kitty (since I was a client of VCA) and was completely shocked when the receptionist refused to give me a handful of food or even sell me a can of food for the kitty or even keep the kitty for 10 minutes so I could run into the store and get some food to sustain him immediately until I could get him home. The receptionist just shrugged and said she wouldn't help - and told me to take him to animal control.
The kitty is now a beautiful, healthy cat - the most affectionate and loving kitty I've ever owned. I spent over $600 with another vet who had a heart for saving an animal's life. I will never spend another dime at VCA and urge anyone with a heart for animals to boycott VCA.

Cons: Absolutely no heart!
