don't go there.....drive wherever you have to for your pet but don't go there. there is another ER for animals on Ventura Blvd near Taft High School which is much better. \r \r ...

My poor kitty had to have a mouthful of teeth removed. The dentist here was gentle, experienced, and took my pet insurance. My cat is doing great and doesn't even seem to care he's left with 3 front teeth and that's it. more

Dr. Cabrera is wonderful! She is super caring, compassionate, thorough and smart. My dog had to have her tail amputated and her surgical work was pure art. The site looks better than I could have ever imagined. Also, Dr. Cabrera's follow up was amazing and super appreciated during what was a very stressful time. more

All I can say is absolutely HORRIBLE! Run far away from this place if you care about your pet. I will try to post a more detailed review when I'm not so emotional because of having just lost a member of our family. All because of the greed and incompetence at VSV. If you love your pet I highly suggest you either say your goodbyes when you drop them off or TAKE THEM ELSEWHERE. more

Very Good Place... 12/15/2011

I?ve been meaning to post something about these veterinarians but I hadn?t gotten around to it. Before the summer started I came in with my dog. They did the health check, gave her antibiotics, and told me to come back if she didn?t improve. I didn?t have to make another visit but I wanted to say that I appreciate that there was no big fuss while we were there. I mean that in terms of the staff not being reluctant to answer questions or rudely trying to placate me. They did fuss over my dog, as they should have. more

I?m from the Valley and all of my neighbors take their pets to VSV when there?s an emergency. I had to do the same recently. I was really scared but the vet that saw my dog helped her, and also calmed me down. I?m never going to forget it. more

friendly and serviceable vererinary 11/12/2011

They are open 24 hours a day and are near my house. This is where I take my animals. They do their job and on top of that manage to be friendly and serviceable. When my pals call me asking about a pet hospital, I point them here. No doubt about it. more

Great Service and Thanks for making my dog better 10/19/2011

Without question, VSV is the number one veterinarian office serving the Woodland Hills area. I have taken my dog to a few different offices in the area, but was never satisfied with the services or the staff. However, the moment I walked in to VSV knew my dog was in good hands.My dog had some kind of infection in the tail area. They gave him some antibiotics and he was well within 7 days. My only compliant is that I had to wait over 35 minutes as they were pretty busy. I recommend them for routine check-ups or emergencies. They offer 24-hour care as well as diagnostic, surgical and dental services. And, they are open seven days a week, 365 days a year! I also love their website! more

I have been a customer of Veterinary Specialists of the Valley for several years and I recommend this place to all my friends and family. About a month ago, I had to rush my cat to the vet for emergency care and was blown away by their response time and emergency services. My cat received the care and stitches he needed and we were back home in no time. I love the staff and the doctors. more

don't go there.....drive wherever you have to for your pet but don't go there. there is another ER for animals on Ventura Blvd near Taft High School which is much better. \r \r Read the review about the person who tried to complain ....they want your money but they are not going to listen to you. Blamers.\r \r I pulled my animal out there in 24 hours to get it to my regular vet. After an hour of being out of this VSof the valley my pet was alert and eating.....I saved my pet by removing it from this clinic. more
