My rescue kitty was diagnosed with cardiac issues at 4 months of age by my regular vet, who recommended referral to AVCC. Spud has seen Drs. Morrison (no longer there), Lesser and Zimmerman (all of whom are wonderful). After initial treatment with various medications and tests to get the condition under control, Spud is now seen for yearly cardiac check-ups and is doing wonderfully on the prescribed program of medication. I travel more than an hour each way for the yearly appointments, but it is worth it! My delightful Spud receives excellent care! more

They saved my dog's life even though he was not expected to make it past the first night. Not only were they incredibly comforting to me during this process but they treated my dog with so much sincere concern and encouragement - everyone - the doctors, the assistants the clerical staff - they treated him with so much importance. The constant care he got and monitoring was superior to anything I saw my parents receive in the hospital. The doctors are really on top of their stuff - they do rounds where a panel of experts can address any difficulties. I am truly indebted to them for their incredible performance. more

From the moment you walk in the door, you are already receiving excellent customer service. They greet you with a warm welcome and make your pet a clear top priority. The doctors at Advanced Veterinary Care Center go above and beyond the call of duty to help you and your pet. My dog was able to live longer solely because of their excellent service. I used to drive an hour out of my way just so my dog would get the best care possible. I have used their surgical, cardiac, and cancer departments, and the service and care from everybody in each department is amazing. They follow up regularly and express their care and concern for your pet. They are truly outstanding. more

I've spent a fortune on Advanced Veterinary Care Center. I used to take my cats there when they were alive, and I was happy with the service they received. I recently just footed the bill for an owner of a dog, and the owner is really happy with her experience. She told me she was "absolutely thrilled". I would like to give a special mention to Dr. Briggs and Dr. Eliot. They have great communication, and all around the experience has been great. more

Advanced Veterinary Care Center were very caring, on top of the issues, helpful, very concerned, and personable. I've been with them for a couple years, and they make things very comprehensive. We've had a couple of animals treated over the last three or four years by Advanced Veterinary Care Center, and each time they've been nothing but professional. The quality of their care is excellent, and on top of that, they seem to care a lot about their clients and patients. They were often times taking care of very physically ill dogs, but they made it a good experience for us even though the end result wasn't good. more

With Advanced Veterinary Care Center, we've used their internal medicine, the surgeon, and, unfortunately, their emergency services several times, and they've all been excellent. What's nice about the doctors is that they coordinate their care and definitely work as a team so I appreciate that. more

I have had a very personal and touching experience working with Advanced Veterinary Care Center. Their customer service, loving care within the staff and thoroughness in addressing questions I had left me feeling like I got the best care possible for my dog when times were tough. They were very attentive, took all my comments very seriously and went above and beyond the call of duty in order to save my dogs life. Later down the road they helped me make a very difficult and emotional decision to put my dog down after he didn't respond to the treatment at the time very well, but two years previously they saved his life and allowed for Riley (my dog) to be around for two more years. I couldn't have asked for a more caring and personable veterinary service and they did everything in their power to help save Riley and help me through this difficult time, and for that I will always be grateful. They're very caring and willing to reach out which is much appreciated. The front staff, however, is horrible and it's not just me. I hear them when they speak with the other people that come in and it's completely horrible. It's already expensive to go in every time so you would expect them to be good all around. more

I've been taking my 13 year old dog to Advanced Veterinary Care Center for a little under a year. They're just excellent, and they have great customer service! They were referred to me by an emergency hospital I'd been to. My dog has an enlarged heart, and upon meeting Dr. Waterman, I felt much more at ease. They've been very caring. They really care for my dog, and they really try and help him. Every time I call, they always call me back, and they always give me an answer for how they're going to help. They've been wonderful, and I couldn't be more grateful! I've only been to the Woodland Hills office and worked with Dr. Waterman, but I wouldn't mind meeting the other doctors! They're great people! more

We've been going to Advanced Veterinary Care Center since April. It's obviously a hard situation when your pet is not in a good way, but they are very loving. They treat you and your animal like a part of them, which I really appreciated. more

I love Advanced Veterinary Care Center. Everyone there is just incredibly compassionate and truly cares for all of the animals that come in. From the people at the front desk to the technicians and doctors, everyone is extremely professional, polite, and responsive. They run a very clean operation and I like that. I own seven cats and only take them here because I feel like I've always gotten the best care at this facility. I run a nonprofit for cats and I always refer people to go to Advanced Veterinary Care Center if they need a specialist. I've been using them for over 10 years. Jennifer is a pleasure to work with. Everybody (Chris, Stacy, Janelle, Mel) on the reception staff is excellent. The technicians, Todd, Yasmin, and Sam have always provided me with good service. Dr. Lesser, Dr. Heller, and Dr. Briggs are some of the phenomenal doctors that I've gotten to know. All in all, I've just never had a bad experience there. They run a 24 hour veterinary clinic that has always fulfilled my pets' needs. I'm so glad that they're around. more

I've been going to Advanced Veterinary Care Center for 20 years and wouldn't recommend anyone else. The doctors are very caring, competent, and helpful. They've always taken a very gentle and kind approach with my dogs and allow me ample time to ask questions. I definitely feel like I can trust them with my animals. Jennifer is great about working around my schedule. Dr. Zimmerman and Dr. West are very compassionate and knowledgeable doctors. One thing I'd wish they'd add is tie ons in the waiting room for my dogs' leashes if I needed to leave the office briefly. The service has been exceptional and I'd recommend them highly. more

The doctor who does the surgery at Advanced Veterinary Care Center is fantastic and very caring. The doctor who I see regularly for my one cat is the same. Dr. Russell is a very caring doctor. The front desk people are all very nice, very knowledgeable, and very professional. I just have reservations about one or two of the doctors I've had experiences with. I know somebody who has a pet who has a very serious illness and needs either emergency or continuous care and I have recommended the place to them. I've been going there for about fifteen months with my current cat, but I've gone there in the past with three other cats. Their care spanned over ten years off and on for periods of six months to a year. I do recommend the place. As far as surgery and the current cardiologist go, both are excellent. more

I go to the cardiologist at Advanced Veterinary Care Center for my two dogs who have heart disease. They have been nothing but kind; they've been great. The doctor is fabulous and the staff is fabulous. I've been going there for two and a half years. My vet suggested I go there. I love the doctor. My one dog died and they sent me a very sweet note. It's hard to talk about it. I still go there for my other dog. They're just very kind. more

Dr. Jennifer Lynn at Advanced Veterinary Care Center specializes in dental care for pets. Dr. Lynn is pretty special in terms of being personable and also compassionate. I have six cats and a dog and have always had a large pet population. A lot of veterinary practices seem to be concerned about making money and charging you for every possible thing they do in the practice for your pet. You walk out with some very expensive bills. I had just had a bill for $4,000 for a procedure my cat needed done at the other Advanced Veterinary Care Center. My cat ended up needing dental work as well and that procedure was going to cost me another $1,500. I explained my situation to Dr. Lynn and she was so good about working with me and giving me some alternatives to take care of my cat, treat her pain, and treat her dental condition, so that I had a little breather between bills. She gave me a couple months with some options for care and I appreciated that so much. Her empathy, her rapport with animals, her skill--everything about her is pretty incredible. I wish I could find a regular practice that had her empathy and her ethics. I don't think you can go wrong taking a pet to her practice. You're going to get the best possible care for your pet and she's certainly flexible in helping devise a treatment plan that fits your budget. She's absolutely not going to try to sell up to anything. I can't speak highly enough of her and her practice, and I'm not related to her. She loves pets and is also willing to work with rescue animals. I have had large groups of pets for many, many years and I don't think I've ever found anyone I like as much as her. more

I am eternally grateful to Advanced Veterinary Care Center. They have saved both my dogs' lives. The doctors and the entire staff are exceptional. Without them, I would honestly not have my two little dogs today. One of them was diagnosed with cancer at Advanced. I originally brought my dogs to a different vet, who was wonderful also, but some doctors and facilities are just not as equipped as Advanced. They have the ability to handle surgeries for pets and heal long term diseases. I have seen maybe seven different doctors at this clinic. It's nice to have so many doctors available who specialize in different areas. For me, the location is also not too far. It's about a twenty-minute drive depending on traffic. Their hours work well with my schedule, too. My dogs are always welcomed by the staff at Advanced. They usually get worried when I take them to places, but the staff is so sweet and shows them a lot of love. I am constantly recommending Advanced to others because they are the best, most experienced doctors you will find. I appreciate their hard work so much for keeping my little dogs alive. My old vet was terrible and just let my cat lay for a week and a half in their "hospital". They only gave him fluids and didn't do tests or anything. They charged me $2,500 for that, which was money I could have used for his care. Finally, I brought him to Advanced Veterinary Care Center and right away they were on it, doing tests, and trying to find out what was wrong with him. They found out it was cancer pretty quickly and started treatment. To this day I feel so guilty for leaving him at the other place for so long. I couldn't believe how professional everyone was at AVCC. They were like a real hospital and treated him like he was a person. All of the doctors are nice and all of the front people are nice. Everybody there is great. I recommend them to anybody at work if it comes up, especially for people who live close by. I told my podiatrist to go there. I really think he was on the verge of death. Dr. Heller, his oncologist, is amazing and has given him chemo. Dr. Panek, his internist, inspected him. For a while we thought he had heart issues as well and Dr. Zimmerman was his cardiologist. Dr. Boyer is his acupuncturist. Janelle and Crystal at the front desk run everything. All of the Mellissa's are great. Tiffany and Brandon are fantastic. Stacy is really sweet. I sincerely believe he would be dead if I had taken him anywhere else and not to them. Latane Mack more
