DON'T TAKE YOUR PET HERE 2/3/2011

Unfortunately, we had to take our cat to the vet late one night for an emergency and our regular vet was not available. They came up with all these worst case diagnosis to justify doing all these tests. They kept him over night and the next morning wanted to charge us 1200.00 total for the overnight stay and more testing. We immediately came and picked him up and took him to our regular vet, who diagnosed him with simple asthma. $36.00, my vet charged me for an extremely in depth visit, a look with me at the xrays Aacacia had taken and his medicine. My vet was baffled as to why they wanted to do so much and charge me sooooo much and apologized to me for them. GO ANYWHERE BUT AACACIA!!!!!!!!!!!! They will over diagnose to justify what they want to charge you. more

Highway Robbery 3/12/2010

Do not send your pet here in an emergency. They gave me an estimate of $384 just for a diagnostic test, of which we already told them what we felt the dog was suffering from. It was obvious my bulldog had an uterine infection. Total procedure price ended up being an estimate of $3,200. I took my dog home after paying $100 to them for fluids when they initially tried to bill me $293.00 for this. My dog did ok overnight at home and we took her to Dr. Butchko. Had the total procedure, testing and boarding done for $800.00. Butchko removed her uterus and she is doing well. Thank Goodness for Butchko if we had listened to Acacia we were going to put her down. They are nothing more than ANIMAL KILLERS... I am not sure anyone would pay $3,200 for surgery on a 6 year old bulldog... more

Horrible Doctors and Staff 10/27/2008

The absolute worst doctors and staff. Unable to diagnose the animal from physical exam. Disagreed with the doctor and went for a second opinion and the doctor continued to call and slander the new hospital I picked. By the way animal is fine. No thanks to Aacacia. If I had followed their advice and diagnosis the animal would be dead. more

Attention All Pet Owners! 7/11/2006

Aacacia Animal Hospital is the best place to take your babies by far. They are very helpful, their staff is highly trained, and the service is incredible. Everytime I go I get immediate service, The longest I had to wait was 3 minutes. They cost a bit more but it is worth it. When my Shayna was hospitalized I never worried how she was being treated. I am 100% confident in the abilities of this hospital and will never go anywhere else. I want to thank Acacia Animal Hospital from the bottom of my heart for keeping my Shayna alive even when the odds were stacked against her. They found her disease quickly and immediately began treatment. She would have been dead that night if not for them. I am forever thankful for the ways you helped my family cope with Shayna's illness. more

rip off 9/12/2005

After 18 years of going to Aacacia Animal Hospital, they went down hill in the last year. First my 4 month old Chahuahua was given medicine in his nose and his eyes became swollen one hour afterwards because he was administered an overdose. One month later my Cocker Spaniel (12 years) was taken for grooming and a refill of his perscription. Doctor Ross at the clinic said that he needed blood work, eye medicine, nose medicine, and bronchitis medicine. All he needed was a refill of his heart medicine. He died 3 days later.... I will never return to Aacacia. more

Awesome Place 8/16/2005

This place is awesome!! It is right down in the middle of Corona and is accessible by all people. It is big and you can not miss it on West 6th St. They take care of animals as they were humans. Furthermore, the vets there were very nice, even though the prices are a little expensive than other places it is still fair. However, their best factore are the times they are open, which is virtually all the time. more

Good to my pet 8/7/2005

Aacacia Animal Hospital handled my fur baby with great care. The facility was clean and the day I was there it wasn't crowded at all so we didn't have to wait very long. The drawbacks are that it was kind of expensive and the parking lot was very small and cramped. more
