I ordered the Club House Sandwich. Described as "Served on a freshly baked 12" roll with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and mustard" and it came on sliced wheat bread. It was okay, but not what I was expecting based on the description. more

Prompt delivery time and the cheesesteak was awesome! Their chili cheese fries were excellent, too. The portion size of the fries was big - really a meal by itself. Glad to find an awesome cheesesteak place in SF! more

One of my favorite places for a cheesesteak! 5/19/2007

There's not a bad item on the menu, but the cheeseteaks in particular are delicious and extremely filling. The garlic fries are excellent and I guarantee you won't leave hungry. Prices are very low and the value is incredible considering the amount you get. Pros: Great Food, Excellent Value Cons: Can be difficult to find more

Cheese steak at a great price! 2/6/2006

The V Cafe is a small, out of the way sandwich shop that's great for take-out or sit down dining. They offer a good variety of quality cheese steak sandwiches and have great fries! Best of all, it's very inexpensive. Everything's made to order; I was especially pleased that I could get a plain, (just cheese and steak) sandwich without all the fixings. I always prefer places that let you say what you want on your sandwich instead of what you want off. Overall, V Cafe is a great place to go for a quick and filling meal! Pros: Great taste, inexpensive, fast service more
