While the manicure was decent - nothing to rave about - it was the fact that the business has questionable ethics that led to my review. On the website, they list a specific price for a Shellac Manicure. No where in the site does it say $7 would be charged to remove polish from a previous Shellac Manicure. It was never mentioned prior to the service either, but when it was time to pay, it was added on without hesitation. When I asked the girl at the desk, she rolled her eyes and told me I should have taken care of it myself and that she would not remove the charge. It's only $7, but the fact that they do not stand by their OWN information is disheartening. But that information on the website or mention it before offering the service! It is a salon that is trying too hard to be chic, so if they want people to take them seriously, even though the building is old, hot, and smells of mildew, they should probably hold true to their word.
