It cost me about 57 dollars a night to stay here. This is my third and final night hear. Room is tops. Everything is clean. Bathroom is very clean. Has a hair dryer, soap and sham...

In general, the rooms in this property are as good as most of the Marriott and the Hilton properties that I usually stay in. The room was absolutely spotless, the furnishings were really nice, and the rooms pleasant. more

Location and cost make this a good choice. 2/23/2011

Location and cost make this a good choice. We got a king hot tub suit.Our main reason for this choice was the central location to the 4 corner area attractions . such as monument valley,mesa verde,and the san juan skyway. The room-- had alot of space including a seperate sitting area with tv.A sleeping area,and the bath/tub area. a small hallway with closet on one side and a fridge/micowave on the other. robes in the closet with iron/board lots of spreading out room. the bed was comfortable the lighting was well apointed and the temperature control was easy to use. also had coffie maker hair dryer. more

An interesting and enjoyable hotel. By getting a player's card from the casino we were able to get a very nice non-smoking room for not much more than half what we are accustomed to paying. They have a small buffet in the hotel, which while less fancy than a big place in Las Vegas, was very satisfactory. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. more

Our room was bigger than regular hotel rooms 2/2/2011

It was the closest casino to where I had to do some errands and needed a room to stay overnight. I thought the cleanliness of the hotel was clean, our room was bigger than regular hotel rooms I've stayed at & was really clean. more

The room was absolutely spotless, the furnishings were really nice, and the rooms pleasant. The Ute employees were extremely friendly. We booked a $69 room. The front desk clerk told us that if we would sign up at the casino club, we would get a $10/ night discount +$5 per person in cash for the slot machines. AND there was **NO** hotel taxes added to the bill!!! That saved us $30! I will admit that the front desk folks were not as polished as a Marriott front desk but they made up for their inexperience with enthusiasm. more

Very Helpful 1/11/2011

I was driving through and looking for a reasonable place to stay. The person behind the reservation desk was helpful and kind. the room was very nice, with a view of the sunrise the next morning. The room was clean, and quiet. I've had much worse experience for $50, this is highly recommended. more

REALLY CLEAN 1/3/2011

After reading all the reviews I was skeptical about staying here but it was the closest casino to where I had to do some errands and needed a room to stay overnight. I thought the cleanliness of the hotel was clean, our room was bigger than regular hotel rooms I've stayed at & was really clean. more

Very enjoyable 11/8/2010

Very enjoyable, good accomodations, close to many southern Utah attactions. The staff bent over backwards to help us (we were dealing with car trouble during our visit). Tropic is small but clean and nice, and a good choice if you want to be close to Escalante and Bryce Canyon but away from the crowd. more
