About 4 years ago I bought a water softener from Utah Water Systems via a door-to-door sales guy. It wasn't until Monday of this week that I discovered that they had installed it backwards which meant I've not had any soft water despite spending hundreds of dollars on salt over the years.
I do realize mistakes happen and this happened to be one of them. I called them up and told them of the situation. They said they would send a tech out but were confident that there is no way it could be hooked up backwards without it having issues that would have manifest themself to me. I agreed and understood that they would need to see it with their own eyes, but I said if I'm correct I'd like a new tank. They suggested they could just refill any missing resin and recharge it. I said, I want a new tank. The guy came out and found that I was correct. Since he was a tech he was just planning on reversing the pipes and calling it good, but when I said I wanted a new tank he called his boss and they said they would bring one the next day. They did! They were always very courteous with me. So even thought they made the mistake, I'd recommend them to anyone because of how they handled things in making it right.
Just couldn't give them 5 stats since they did the original install incorrectly, but aside from that I would.
Pros: Courteous, Prompt, Polite and Took Care of Their Mistake
Cons: Installation Issues (mistakes happen)
