Failed vision screening due to tracking problem 8/2/2016

My kindergartner failed a vision screening at school. She didn't fail because she couldn't see. She failed because she couldn't track. She would read a few letters from one line, a few from another. She may have skipped a row or two. The school screening didn't catch this. Dr Davies office did. My daughter couldn't converge to focus on words, and she couldn't track to follow a line. These problems were both resolved through vision therapy. My daughter is now an avid reader. This wouldn't have been possible without vision therapy. more
