My Son started at USK with a trial about 1 year ago. I was skeptical that he was going to excel in karate because my son has Autism. He is now 8 years old and a green belt. On his first day there he fought and protested, screaming I hate you and we are not going in. As soon as he crossed the threshold he turned around and hugged my wife and told her ""thank you we are home"". From that day forward we were home. The staff and owners have treated us like family. They intrinsically knew how to reach my son and I will forever be grateful for that. I recently started training with my son and it is something that as a father of an autistic son I never thought I would be able to do. The entire school treats my son as one of their own and I am not just talking about the staff. The students accept him and are never rude or judging. This place, these people, this community, will help develop the moral character, spirit and leadership in your children and yourself. I am a better person from meeting these people and my son is too. I hope this review convinces you to at least meet this people and give them a try. I promise you it is the best investment you can make in your family.
