Us Post Office

I have been wondering about my postal service where I live now, I can't believe some of the things that I have noticed lately. The other day I was actually standing by my mailbox, when my mail was delivered. When I took it inside, I had one of those little peach cards saying that I was not home for a parcel delivery, so I had to go out of my way the following day to go to the local branch to pick it up. Sometimes I have to leave my mail in the box for pick up, it has gone for days before the mailman noticed it and took it, I realized this after I found out some of my bills were late in being received! I have watched them drive by at 5:00 pm, and not even deliver the mail, if they are running late, which where I live now, they do this alot....I wonder if it is just my postal location, it has to be, I don't ever remember it being this poor! more

This post office location is OK. There are four counters of workers, a large section of PO Boxes, it's clean. The postal employees are usually friendly and though I used to go here a lot when I lived in the area, it's not one of my favorites any more. It can get quite busy because it's one of the main branches. The post office box instead takes mail up until 4 pm on Saturdays which is later then most. more
