Great calming environment. Very professional masseurs. Waxing services are exceptional! Massage selection is good, a little pricey for this area in my opinion, but the service is very good! more

Soothing and relaxing as soon as you walk through the doors 8/19/2005

Urban Nirvana is conveniently located in the South Windermere shopping center. Although parking can be a problem, once inside you feel like you are in heaven. The very polite ladies greet you in the door and then take you and show you some of the facilities and they make you feel relaxed to go in and get ready. Once you have gotten into the soft robes and relaxing slippers- you can choose to drink lemon water and grapes as you wait for your name to be called. Once called back, it's so relaxing that you forget about your worries and when its over, you hate to leave. Prices are affordable and well worth it. more

Urban Nirvana 7/20/2005

Urban Nirvana is the perfect place to pamper yourself with a facial, a massage or to try something new like a body wrap or a hot stone massage. They also offer hydrotherapy in their whirlpool tibs or using jets of hot water directly on your body. I went there for a pre-natal massage and it really helped me work out some of the pain I was having in my back from carrying my child. A gift certificate to Urban Nirvana is the PERFECT Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, or ANY day gift for the special person in your life! it is conveniently located on James Island, less than 5 minutes from downtown Charleston so you can even squeeze in a quick massage on your lunchbreak if you are having a rough day. more
