I've been a client of the owners for several years now, I've actually been following them from salon to salon! I was so excited to learn that they were branching out on their own a couple of years ago, Susan and Man are both very talented, smart, creative women. Urban Image definitely lived up to my expectations! I have never walked out the salon with anything less than perfect style! It's took me years to find a stylist that knew exactly how to cut and color my very thick, really wavy hair. Thank goodness I found these girls!\r The location is perfect for anyone who lives or works in the downtown vicinity, the atmosphere has always been so friendly and realxed! Now that the sleek new look is in place and the product line has switched, the package is complete!\r The staff is friendly, diverse, AND well-educated. \r They travel all over the world (Minneapolis, New York, Italy-just ask them) to learn the latest techniques, and also bring in nationally recognized educators to teach anything from skincare to makeup to haircutting to color trends. There are always client events to teach me tricks too! With the addition of the Aveda product line, their talents are well-supported with all the tools needed to make the client feel well taken care of in the salon and at home. \r You can't go wrong switching to this progressive new salon! I am a long time friend/client of the owner and have had excellent service every visit! I have moved to Chicago but return at least twice a year and always go in for a visit. I prefer it to many of the high priced salons I have visited in Chicago. The staff is friendly and diverse. I am VERY picky about who does my hair. I like to change my hair styles often, and I like my beauticians to give me ideas, listen to what I have to say, and I should be able to trust that they'll make me look spectacular. They are the ONLY people that I will let touch my hair! I even moved 15000 miles away at one point, and I actually came BACK to Wichita on a regular basis to get my hair done! They offer unique products to the area, and their prices are reasonably competitive. Their location in Old Town offers special opportunities to walk to many places to enjoy shopping, eating, seeing a movie, or heading out to a club after a day of pampering.
