Nazaria was my therapist and she is and forever will be the Deep Tissue Queen in my book! She almost put me to sleep (in a deep tissue) and took away a 4 day old tension headache! Visited Urban Bliss Day Spa on Friday 7/9/10. I found it on SpaFiner.com since I had a gift card and it was one of two places closest to my Cerritos home. First impression was standard issue strip mall kind of place with a small front desk area, but once you go to the back area of the spa the atmosphere improved. While not high-end luxury, perfectly acceptable for what I was there for, massive knots in the neck and shoulders. My masseuse was Christine and she was GREAT! She was attentive to my problem spots and really got the stress out. She was pleasant and the room had perfect ambiance with music, candles, and dim lighting. I will definitely return for future stress relief. I also opted to get my eyebrows waxed by Bonjie. She too was friendly and attentive. She took notes as to my sensitive skin around my brows so that she could tailor my future treatments appropriately. I am eager to try other services. Prices and location are great. more

Came to Urban Bliss Dayspa with alot of muscle aches and stress. My massage with Isela was great. She knew exactly what pressure and areas that really needed to be massaged. I would definitely come back and join their Club Bliss !!!!! more

I called Urban bliss after looking up near by spa's online and a rough week of work. I was able to book a same day appointment... ON A SUNDAY!! I was instructed to fill out a survey when I signed in, asking me to adress my problem spots. Anna Cook, not only asked my how and why I ache where I ache but was able to give me pointers on how to treat my muscles following my massage. The hot stone treatment was amazing and I am "literally" aching to go back. Urban Bliss and Anna have, by far, been the the best experience I have had in massage therapy... Browsing through Spafinder.com, I discovered a local treasure, Urban Bliss Day Spa. I had been in desperate need of a spa treatment and wanted to go somewhere close to my home. I was able to get an appointment right away for a facial and massage. The facial was relaxing and the massage worked out all the tension in my neck and shoulders. Both treatments were AWESOME! I am so happy that my sister gave me a gift certificate to this spa for my birthday. I feel so good after Anna Cook massages me with hot stones. I will never have a regular massage again, the hot stones make your massage last. Anna is the best.! I always feel welcome when I go there. The staff is very nice and the spa is small but cute. I appreciate that they always greet me by name and that I never have to wait. This has become my secret pleasure. Anna is really helping me to get my stress level down and it is also helping with my headaches. A gift certificate is all I asked my husband for Christmas and my birthday. My husband didn't want to really to just get me that, but I said that is all I want. Treat yourself. Its the best massages I have ever had! Virginia more
