Let me tell you about my experience yesterday. I pull up and 2 Westchester police cars in the parking lot allegedly we had some assault yesterday at the gym. I proceed to the elliptical machines and it took 5 times to find one that had a working tv. The biggest issue with this gym is the lack of leadership. Poor customer service, broken equipment, and sanitary conditions of the restroom and the equipment. If I was to own a gym these are the 3 things I would make my focus to have a successful company. I have 3 months left of a 18 month pre paid contract and then I will be leaving. more

I signed up with three friends. We all paid a year in advance, but they charged two of my friends double. They tried to make a two year pre-pay into a monthly pay.\r They cancelled my membership after a few months even though it was paid through the end of 2011. I was told by one of their employees that membership was a ""privilege"" and not a right...and that I needed to leave when I asked why my membership was cancelled.\r \r Turns out it was a mistake on their part. They told me they'd get it fixed and call me and let me know once it was resolved.\r They never called.\r I went in three different times and they told me they needed me to write a letter letting them know about one of their employees who was incredibly rude.\r They couldn't look up my account while I was there because their computers were down...again...\r \r THEY ASKED ME TO WRITE A LETTER...AND OFFERED ME NOTHING FOR CANCELLING MY MEMBERSHIP AND DENYING ME ACCESS.\r \r I was sort of shocked that they weren't even offering to cover the period of my contract where I was denied access...and then asked me to do them a favor and write something for them.\r \r They're machines are breaking down and they have rude employees...but other than that...\r more
