AAAAAH I love this place! Thier groupons are such a steal! I love going and I try to work with Tom if I can...These guys are great! There is so much to do and see in this shop!

Great Fun! 12/29/2011

Our family of 5 had a great holiday break adventure at Uptown Glassworks this week. We all made ornaments, picking our style and colors. The artists led the way actually making the project, but we each participated in the glassblowing. It was truly a fun and unique experience, and we can't wait to pickup our finished projects in the next day or two! more

A glass extravaganza in a working hot shop 11/7/2011

My friend and I went to Uptown Glassworks yesterday for the first time with our teenage daughters. All four of us had a blast. We each created our uniquely own glass pumpkin or gourd with their Blow Your Own experience. The hardest challenge was picking out the colors for our glass pieces. The artists who guided us were friendly, informative, and very talented. I enjoyed watching my daughter and friends blowing their glass pieces as much as I loved making mine. And we got to be in a working hot shop!! We are already planning our next trip to create our own glass art. In the mean time, I did start my Christmas shopping in their gallery. more

What a Great Experience! 7/5/2011

My daughter and I each took the Summer School class at Uptown Glassworks. I was delighted with the friendly and knowledgeable instructor. We were able to choose what we were going to make and choose from a large selection of colors. The instructor guided us through the whole process. I have always thought that blowing glass would be an amazing thing to do, and it was. more

Lots of fun! 7/5/2011

They were very friendly and informative. My mother and I went we were in a class of 3 people and yet each person got one on one help with the instructor when they were making their blown glass. They really took care of you and made sure the safety procedures were followed, and even gave bottled water to those in the class who didn't have any with them. They let you actually choose what you got to make instead of other places we have been to where the item made was predetermined. I would highly recommend Uptown Glassworks to someone who wants to make blown glass but doesn't know how or have the equipment. They even had tons of great glasswork that you could look at. more
