I created a citysearch account especially to write about iCi's private dining room. They have been so amazing at organizing my husband's 40th birthday, that I thought they deserved the whole of NYC to know how great they are!! From the moment I first contacted them about the party, to even after the event (they sent a very sweet thank you email in the days following the event), the service they provided was outstanding. I really wanted the party to be perfect, and they were extremely patient and helpful during the whole planning process. On the day, the manager was great, she accomodated of all my guests difficult requests, food allergies etc. Their wine recommendations were spot on, and the food came just at the right pace, every was hot and perfectly cooked (even though there were 39 of us!!).
I held the party at ici on a friend's recommendation as we live in the city, and I could not find anything to fit my budget there. That was a great choice, and i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking at a private space for a special event.
