selection/price 10/8/2010

A few years ago (2004-2005) they had a great selection; we bought several nice pieces of furniture at a reasonable price. Something has happened since then, however, have been there several times and prices have esculated while selection has decreased and quality/style has suffered. I very seldom go there now. more

Phenomenally Rude- Think Twice about doing Business! 8/16/2009

There is no substitute for good customer service, and unfortunately for Upscale Resale, and their potential customers, the service here is terrible. The managers tend to treat their customers petulently, almost as if they were doing their customers a favor. All in all, there are a few interesting pieces, however, there is no find that makes being treated poorly, worthwhile. more

There is no substitute for poor customer service, and unfortunately for Upscale Resale, and their potential customers, their service is terrible. The place is managed poorly, and at least one manager, Alex, has the uncommon indecency to treat his customers like he is doing them a favor. All in all, there are a couple of interesting pieces, but no find that makes being treated poorly, worthwhile. more

Great Place to Sell Used Furniture! 11/15/2005

This is a pricey, but very unique furniture store near Merrifield, VA. It has a reputation for being pricey but you can find some good deals here. They used to have a clearance room but now they have a room that is off to the side with items that get marked down daily. One of the best things about this store is that is really hassle-free to sell furniture there. Don’t be afraid to drop something by for them to sell. They give you 50% and most likely the item will sell before getting too inexpensive. Recently my mom took a rocking chair in that she was going to donate to Good Will. She got $15 for it which is better than nothing! more
