I've heard of the Upper Crust and was excited when I saw their pies for sale at Kobosko's Ice Cream shop in Wellington (near Olympia Entrance on Forest Hill Blvd). We bought the tangy cherry pie and took it to my mom's.\r

The first slice didn't come out very well but I figured that was normal because the first slice of pie never comes out well. Turns out that the entire pie was burnt and the bottom crust was stuck to the pie tin. The cherry mixture was pretty good but not exceptional and the crust being burnt really made me apprehensive about spending $12 to $13 on a pie I could have made myself.
