Up In Tangles Salon

I have gone there a few times already and keep going back. This is the first place I've actually kept going back to because it is above and beyond other options in the area. The salon is in a good area and is modern. Everyone there is really friendly. John, one of the stylist, is amazing and definitely experienced. He knows what he is doing; I would definitely recommend him. And not only is he a good stylist, he is also really personable and funny. You get a quality hair cut/style for a great reasonable price. Plus there are almost always promotions and ways to save more money. I definitely recommend trying out Up In Tangles and John. more

Up In Tangles is a great salon in Cypress. It's a small salon with a very warm, inviting atmosphere. Their prices are very reasonable and they always have great promotions going on. I found out about this salon through a Groupon special and also found the most amazing hairstylist ever, John. He has a true passion for what he does and it shows. I highly recommend him and this salon. more

Martha Cardona is my stylist and I can't live without her. A good man is hard to find (so they say), but a good stylist is priceless. Cut, color, style - she knows how to make you feel beautiful. The rest of the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Up in Tangles and especially Martha. more

I found this salon through a recommendation of a good friend when I decided it was time to get a new haircut and have some highlights added. Made an appointment and a couple of days later, visited the salon. \r \r The staff is extremely friendly! Always welcoming and smiling. They make you feel so very much at home. The Salon is small, but very cozy! I love that fact. They make you feel wonderful and appreicated; not just another body in a chair.\r \r I see Amy Dow and let me tell you .. she's freaking FABULOUS! She was able to help me find the right color combination, the right style that makes me feel like a million bucks! I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a great style!\r \r Pricing is reasonable with the current market standards and worth every freaking cent you pay! I purchased a Groupon for $70 worth of services. Before finalized the Groupon, I called salon & asked the rate for partial highlights & was told $60. Asked again when making the appt. & was told the same price. Went in for the highlights & when done, was told I owed $20. Let me add that I have EXTREMELY fine/thin hair so I was not expecting to pay more, I was expecting to be well over the amt. needed to cover costs. I questioned the charge & receptionist 1st said it must have been b/c the stylist added extra highlts...NOT!!! & then she said it was b/c I had a blow dry. Nvr have I pd. $30 for a blow dry after a highlt. or pd. anything extra for that matter. Mgr. wasn't there to discuss so I talked to her the next week & she was not willing to give me credit....only correct the unnoticeable highlts. Yeah, like I would go BACK THERE!!!!????? I don't think so! Highly disappointed!!! Stylist was nice tho...I can say that much. more

This is a great salon and I am very happy I found it.I was referred to Diana by a friend and thank god I found someone who can do both, great color n an awesome cut. I would pay for just the shampoo experience!She has done an awesome job with my hair! It looks great and even feels much healthier.I also got my eyebrows done here,which i am very picky about.. This is the first salon that I tell people, this is ""my"" salon. Everyone there is amazing. When you come in any one you see smiles and says hello and genuinely seems to enjoy working there. The salon is always clean and pleasant. I go to Angie Cowan and she is amazing. I recommend her to everyone, she only the second sytlist that I have counted on her advice and have made regular appointments. I am definitely impressed with the quality of the staff and think Angie is the best! more

I've been three times to see Martha and will continue to go back. The service is great, the place is clean and the product is excellent! Plus, you can't beat the price. Some places are outrageous and their prices are certainly competitive. I've seen three friends there so far with the same results. Pros: Great product for the price. more

Called and made an appt, mentioned that I had never been there before, arrived 5 min early (you never know if there is paperwork involved) and after sitting there for 35 minutes, walked out without getting my hair cut - what a waste of time. more
