Your treatment plan is unique,and takes into consideration not only your diagnosis,but age,physical health,family history (genetics),symptoms,use of other medications,and more. Your personalized treatment plan may include one or more of the following components: •Wellness and Self-Care are key components in any treatment plan. We provide proven strategies and tools for developing healthy lifestyles,empowering individuals to take an active role in their own wellness. •Psychotherapies involve a dialogue with a trained clinician in order to address stress,resolve conflicts and bring about positive life changes. Psychotherapy can take many forms,including: ?Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) - addressing the links between moods,thoughts and actions to help patients resolve current issues. ?Interpersonal therapy (IPT) - focusing on relationships with others and social roles that can bring on or worsen symptoms. ?Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) - using a problem-solving approach that combines discussion about unresolved issues with techniques to increase awareness of the present moment and reduce negative thoughts. •Medication of many different types is often essential to provide relief from the symptoms of brain illnesses. •Neuromodulation uses electrical or magnetic currents to stimulate the brain and alter brain activity.
