UOP is a great place to go to get low cost dental work. You ususally get a second or third year student to work on your teeth. they are well trained and still learning. They always have to ask their attendings to check on their work before moving to the next step. This is a great idea because the patient is always relaxed knowing that the work will be checked. Going to teh dentist is never fun, bu its great when its cheaper. more

I trusted some student dentists to work on my teeth because I had heard really great things about this shool. And in fact, my expereince was as good as it could be for going to the dentist. All the students have to check each step of their work before continuing. Tis is very reassuring. It is a great way to go to the dentist and its affordable. good school 8/21/2005

University of the Pacific dental school is a good university but it is incredibly expensive. The school is in fact the most expensive dental school in the country-but it makes fiscal sense to attend because the school offers a three-year dental program. The school provides a lot of financial aid but does a horrible job of reminding you of how you made the right choice and that the school is expensive but worth it. Also, they require you to lease a laptop for far more than it is worth. more
