University of Hawai'i Bookstores

I'm currently a student at the University of Hawaii and I use the online bookstore alot. There are alot of school supplies from binders to bookbags. The books that you need from classes can be expensive at times but another alternative of getting your books there is through amazon. The book buy back for textbooks are ok but many times you only get a little fraction of what you originally paid. However, it's a great place to buy UH clothes, souveniers and electronics as well. more

The UH book store is one of the biggest I have been to. They have such a wide selection of material you can choose from. Of course, a majority has UH memoribilia on it. They also offer student discounts on computers and other electronic devices. The lines can fill up during the beginning of the semester but otherwise, it's in and out you go. more

The University Of Hawaii Bookstores serves all of the thousands of students that attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa. From textbooks, snacks, t-shirts to sweatshirts, this store has it all. They sell a lot of UH Warrior Football logo items such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, visors, hats, cups, and much more. A lot of visitors come to the University of Hawaii Bookstores just to buy logo items to take back home with them for family and friends or they buy these items as souvenirs. The cashiers are fast and friendly at this nice bookstore. more

I like this bookstore because they sell most of the books that are required for college classes. The bookstore has a large book inventory on many different subjects and topics. The campus bookstore also sells college football logo items like cups, sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, etc. These items make great gifts for college football fans or for loved ones on the mainland. more

The University of Hawaii at Manoa bookstore is located in the center of campus (hence the building’s name, Campus Center). In addition to the requisite textbooks, the bookstore sells assorted sundries; stationery; computer hardware; software and University logo items. With the exception of a few sale items, most prices are list price or higher. Computer hardware (like most Universities, Apple has a relatively large presence) and software are available at educational discounts (with a valid UH ID). These discounts vary and you should not assume that the education prices are always cheaper. Textbooks are conveniently arranged by class and section, and even tagged as "required" or "optional." You probably can get new books cheaper over the Internet, but it won’t be as easy to return if you drop the class. more

UH bookstore is located at the Campus Center at the University of Hawaii. It is a student’s one stop shop for all school needs. Books for classes are easy to find and are labeled accordingly. They also sell UH athletic apparel, computers, electronic equipment, and other school supplies. They’ll also buy back some of you’re used text books from previous semesters. Although, I personally think it’s a total rip off buying back books at half the price and reselling it at twice the price. They also won’t buy back certain books for classes that are “out of date” which sometimes only means one semester or one year old. more
