I have nothing but good words to say about the school that Thomas Jefferson built. Nothing can beat the atmosphere that comes along with being in a college town. The University of Virginia has a sort of aura and mystique about it that keeps students in awe as they are in Charlottesville. The education that comes along with being here is also unbeatable, #2 in the nation currently. If there are any down sides to going to school at UVA it is the current racial situation, as minorities often have a hard time being recognized by University officials, breaking the black/white binary is something that maybe prospectives can look into as they come to the University.
