University Florist & Gift Shop

I live out of town,my daughter's 21rst Birthday is coming up.The manager at Julians highly recommended university Florist,he told me to ask for the owner but when I calledIKaren answered and she was so personable ,nice filled with suggestions and cute ideas I almost felt like I was in the shop.She immediately picked up on my wanting my deliveries to be special,fun and partylike and I have great confidence she will do just that!Will keep you posted on the delivery outcome next weekend.,I will definately use her again! I was very unsatisfied with the profession of University Florist. I requested for flowers to be delivered to an apartment complex and left two phone numbers to where they can contact me. I later found out that the flowers had not been received, and I called them for an explanation. The lady told me that they had left the flowers at the door. Come on! Don't you think that other people would take it? Anyhow, I was disappointed that they didn't even bother calling either of the phone numbers I had given them, mine and the recipient's, to let me know that they did attempt to deliver. It was Valentine's Day and I know they had a busy load, but the poor unprofessional service that they provided and the charge for the roses was not worth it for me. I will never order from this shop again! more

University Florist And Gift Shop is really a great little shop that has everything that you could possibly need when you are looking for gifts and flowers. They really have a great selection and they do a great job packaging it up. I have been a loyal customer for years here and would definitely recommend it to anyone. They are also very affordable in comparison to the other flower shops but not only that, they actually do a much better job that those who charge a fortune. I really enjoy going into this shop beacuse the staff is just so great. There are also never any problems finding a parking spot. PROS: affordable CONS: none more

If you are in the chapel hill area and in search of flowers, this is the place to go. This florist shop has a wide variety of fresh flowers to choose from. The employees attend to your needs at a quick and efficient pace. Best of all, you can call ahead and arrange an order so all you have to do is walk into the store and pick them up. However, as with most florist shops, the prices at this store seem to be a bit overpriced, but the quality is definetly makes up for it. more

This place is a great, convenient place to buy flowers for those students that attend the University of North Carolina Chapel-Hill. You can order flowers for later, or walk-in and they will create a bundle for you. I walked-in to get a dozen roses put together; and boy did they have a great customer service. Quick service and walked out in about 20 minutes with beautiful roses. Specials on roses included free vases. University Florist is great for those looking for flowers for a girlfriend, family member, or loved one. PROS: Quick service, and beautiful production. CONS: more

The southern hospitality and atmosphere are hard to beat. Ol' town Chapel Hill, hardwoods and the coolest little dog....not to mention that the flowers are affordable and healthy. The service is great, and the staff will do whatever it takes to keep their customers happy. Check them out for your wedding needs as well, they offer planning services in this area. Give them a call, and you'll never go anywhere else. more
