Never Again! 10/14/2010

When I went to pick up my shirts, the total was about double what I had expected. - I was told that instead of $1.55/shirt, 5 were hand ironed at a cost of $4.15/each! (11 shirts for $30.05) I asked if they thought they should have made me aware of this when they took in the shirts? - They said I should have read the bottom of the coupon better, about shirts with linen or silk. (actually only two had silk in them) so I don't know what they were actually charging me extra for. In my opinion, business is down and they are taking a short-sighted approach to how to treat their (past) customers. - 15+ years as a customer, but this was the last straw. Never again! more

super service, unbeatable prices 9/29/2005

If you are out looking for a bargain when it comes to your dry cleaning, then look no further. University City Cleaners has the best prices in town, hands down. Shirts are only one dollar and that includes starch. Other garments are also very reasonably priced, and here is the best part: if you bring in more than ten garments, the each one costs only a buck fifty-five to clean and walk out the door; are you kidding me? The staff are great and the quality of their work speaks for itself. If you ask me, this ranks high up on the list for the best dry cleaners in the San Diego area for both quality and value. more

It doesn't get any cheaper than this! 7/10/2005

I got a coupon for this place in my mailbox. If you bring in ten or more garments, it only costs $1.55 per garment for dry cleaning. What a bargain! i was really happy with the way everything came out and I got 10 items cleaned for the price of 3. I'm planning for this to be the dry cleaners I frequent the most. They have several locations so it is convenient no matter where you live in San Diego. It only costs $1 to get shirts cleaned, starched and pressed. more
