Confidence in your doctor.... 11/15/2011

Confidence in your doctor....is always important. When faced with a difficult health decision, it is even more important. I needed an extraction and would have been filled with fear in the past. But now, having had years of diligent, thoughtful, painless care by Dr. Patch and his staff, I was able to relax and know that I was in good hands. I felt no pain, only pressure, and within just a few minutes, my extraction was completed. It's been a week now with no complications, and at this point, no discomfort at all. Thank you, Dr. P. and Dr. O. for your skill, knowledge, and care. more

Kudos to Dr. Patch! 11/15/2011

Dr.Patch was easy going and friendly throughout the procedure. Dr.Patch timed the work perfectly so that the numbing agent wore off just as I left the office. I actually called my friend afterwards and said ""I just left the dentists office. I had a good time."". Who says that after going to the dentist? Kudos to Dr. Patch and his terrific team. more

I have had my teeth cleaned too many times to remember. But, this time the hygienist did something so different,it has not been done for 20 years to me. She first went over every tooth with the hand held dental tool to remove plaque and check every gum height and places of concern. Then she used it gently to remove some plaque .Lastly she used the electric cleaner and polished my teeth the best ever! I am a heavy tea drinker and she even got stains off I thought were there forever. So, in closing she was the best I have ever had...and she put me on a preventive routine that I can actually commit to. Thank you so much! more

We always have a very pleasant experience at University. Both my kids enjoy going and getting a prize from the prize box. Dr Patch and his staff are caring and trustworthy. He's also very considerate of your comfort during all procedures. Would highly recommend. more

What can I say about the staff at Dr. Patch's office? I can say simply that they are the best dental team that I have ever experienced. From the top down, this office does it right. My husband and I were both ""dentist haters"" due to years of unpleasant dentists and staff who through lack of skill or lack of care left us feeling like there were no good dentists left in San Diego. Dr Patch and his staff have changed that for us.I refer all of my friends and family to Univ Ave Dental Group. I wouldn't do that if I had a single misgiving about the care they would receive. more

This dental office is small, clean and professional with up-to-date equipment. The staff treat you like a human being, not a number. They have a sweet camera setup so you can see what's going on in your mouth during procedures. more

Coming Back! 10/21/2011

When I first came to Dr. Patch, I needed Valium in order to show up. After two visits, I could tell that I was safe, and never even filled the Rx he gave me. This business takes every possible step to keep patients comfy, happy, and coming back! more

Honest Dentists 10/19/2011

I tried many, many dentists in the past 15 years, but was able to finally find a honest and efficient dentist such as Dr. Patch. He doesn't try to cheat you and your insurance into paying hundreds of unnecessary dollars. He is a fine man and a great dentist and I wish him well. more

Everyone in the office is very friendly. They make it a point to accommodate your needs and schedule. It is great that they remember you by name and you are not just another face that walks into the office. Most of all they explain your options and billing up front. There is no surprises. more

I was referred to the Dental group via Navy Dental, and I am so happy they did. The staff there are pleasant and seem to really care about your needs as a patient. Dr Patches and Dr. G both have exceptional dentistry skills and I would recommend them to anyone.
