Nissan Cars are Great 3/1/2010

I bought an Altima at Universal and its a great car. They were flexible in the finance department and they didn't try to sell me a kitchen sink. Persistent but not pushy. A good experience. Pros: Good prices. Flexible. more

Universal City Nissan 2/19/2010

I LOVE my Cube; it matches my haircut. They got the thing about the economy sucking and I 'think' I got a good deal (Thank you Scott). Financing not a hassle but for the bazillion signatures. I didn't get the under body sealant (see Fargo). Nuff said. more

Horrible horrible horrible customer service 2/9/2010

I would not recommend anyone to go to Universal City Nissan . Their customer service is horrible ! I went to purchase out my lease but since I was not buying a new car , the manager didn't care to help me at all. I am going to end up returning my lease and never doing business with this dealer ever. If they are not making a good bonus out of you, they do not want to help you out and the so call "managers" are the worst . They have no customer service skills. You would think that with all that commission they make , their customer service would be really good. What they should invest on some customer service classes for their so call "managers". \r \r I strongly believe that they think Hispanic and Latinos are stupid. They target their customers through radio stations such as power 106, latino 96.3, klove, etc. They attempt to feed us bs because they think we are uneducated and ignorant. They invent new plans and pretend that you don't qualify for a good rate. \r \r After a 4 year lease, I more

horrible poor customer service 7/23/2009

I traded a 2006 titan for a 2008 armada worst mistake I ever did should have bought a different dealership they dealer installed a after market alarm the same night I purchased the armada my battery died its been to there service department for a starting problem that till this day there technicians can not figure out what is causing the problem I've called the dealer to see if they could put me into a new vehicle and all i get is the cold shoulder I guess lemon law is next do not waste your time with this dealership more

Key Stone Cops Fire Drill 10/13/2008

This place is a joke! The sales floor had over 50 highschool aged customers filling out Credit Apps. virtually all would not qualify. ( sales rep. confided to me) I visited Univeral Nissan to test drive a Fontier pick up. The sales lady took me all over their parking structure. After she found it, Service had a car parked in front of it., service couldn't locate to keys to move it. We went back to the sales department, located another truck, located the keys, and again ran around the parking structure. We located the truck, and this time battery was dead. We spent another 15 minutes looking for a battery jumper, we found the jumber , but now their battery jumper was dead. I had enough and left. Pros: Location is close to me. Cons: Very disorganized, cars are not prepped for test drives. I was turned off before I even got tot the car. more

Horrible Experience, Worst Customer Service Ever. Bad Service. Slow 8/27/2008

Horrible Experience, Customer Service ignored me when I went in for an oil change. So Sorry to not set up an appointment, I was in the area. Overpriced bad service. Takes to long for service. Last time I had an oil change, it ended up with me renting a car for finding other small problems and taking too long to fix them. more

DONT DO IT THEY LIE WASTE OF TIME 6/12/2008

went last night because they bugged me all week with stupid voicemails saying they could help me and stuff because my car is upside down in the value, I ended up going despite the fact that I get up every morning at 4am. I was there till 11 clock at night the guy swore the could do it to just go ..i said I need to pt gas he said don't even your walking out with a new car haha!!! They were a total waste of time they wanted me to have my car repoed and I said no thats why im here and then they said sorry we cant do it I drove all the way from orange county 1 hour and 45 minutes.. I explained the situation and said If you think you can't do it don't waste my time or yours it's a long drive i have my kid with me.. and they said ""no come on in we won't let you go unless we get you a car havent you heard about us on power 106"" IDIOTS they're so not true a bunch of LIARS this dealer is no good they lie... Cons: ALL THE ABOVE NO GOOD more

nissan x terra 6/5/2007

well I read the review for this dealer after i purchased my x terra 06 I wanted a new x terra an 07 so we dealed and at the end of it all I was walked over to their dark parking structure. you could not tell alot by that nor that all of this cars were 06's. well it continues the black suv looked like it was sitting all of last year in the sun or in a dusty place,it looked clean. but when you look closely into the paint you can tell the paint had alot debrie stuck to the paint. also the interior had alot of broken piece that the service is still trying to fix. They sold it to me with out car mats. I waited a few weeks for that. Over all you can only catch this thing after walking around being around the car for days that you start seeing a pattern of inperfections. the only car thats perfect possibly is the vehicle that has a 5000.00 mark up and is sitting in the shoow room. I have not serviced the car yet I cant wait to see how their charges are even with the service maintanace that I purchased. Pros: they'll do anything to sell even give you a fake income if you choose to go along with that Cons: continued preasure more

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE 1/23/2007

Bought my new Z here. The thing was parked in a open lot for what appeared to be a long time.It was1:30AM by the time I purchased it ,they had washed it but it was still filthy being a black car at night I'm sure it was hard to wash. The sales rep(who was actually quit friendly and knowledable)noticed some dried fluid marks on the dash and said I could bring it in for a detail. The following morning I noticed some pretty deep scratches on the hood.Brought it in the following morning like the sales guy asked.and while pulling in he called and said he would be 2 hours late and I should bring it in the following day.Great. Bring it in the following day,and they said the scratches would take a week to buff.Great.so bring it in the following tuesday. Brand new beautiful car and I have to leave it for a week to buff the hood.So I come in on friday to pick it up, keep in mind this is my forth trip there, they pull the car out, its filthy and theres swirl marks on the hood,no detail, bad buff job.So I take it back the the service department, they said yeah even tho my paper said the work was done that yes it was obviously not detailed, but the ""advisor"" says the hood was painted. So I have to come back and pick it up in the evening.Get there, the car finally looked cleaned on the outside, but the ""painted"" hood was obviously only buffed as if I looked close, you could still see the scratch marks, fine, but why LIE about it?so I get in the car and notice that the inside was never cleaned and the mysterious fluid drop marks on the dash are still there.TERRIBLE customer service and ""work"" Also they told me that ONLY Nissan can change the oil because of some seal and that it costs 50dollars to change at their service department. And that id I got their maintenance plan that it would save me money, when I went to the service department, I checked out their maintenance schedual and added it all up,500 dollars more for the plan than out of pocket, not to mention your interest over the 5years. Pros: the sales reps were fine Cons: the financing guy lied thru his teeth but was otherwise friendly. sort of more

Horrible customer service, never take your car to get service here 9/2/2006

The only reason I take my car to get service at a dealership is because I have an extended warranty. If you don't have that, I think the prices are outrageously expensive. My car wouldnt start on a sunday morning so I got a jumpstart and took it there by 10am. I was waiting for 20 mins so I could pull my car in the service area because there was a line. Then I told my situtation with an ""advisor"". I was told they would look at it today. I then took a taxi home cause I guess on Sundays they dont have free shuttle service. I waited all day and they never called me. I got a call at 4pm saying they didnt have time to look at it and expect a call the next day by noon. So i wait till mon its noon and surprise they havent called me back. I call them, and find my advisor is missing in action, nobody knows where she is at, and nobody knows whats going on with my car. I wait another 3 hours and find out they finally diagnosed my car and it just needed a new battery. So I say fine can you do it today? They say they can do it in the morning. So i finally get my baterry done on tues morning and pick up my car. 3 days to install a freakin baterry. thats horrible. horrible customer service. idiotic service advisors who have no clue what service at a dealership is supposed to be. im never taking my car here ever again, its total imcompentence here. be warned. Cons: horrible customer service, incompetent service advisors more
