DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They COMPLETELY screwed us over. They say that “customer care and satisfaction is our #1 goal” and their priority is to design and deliver “stress-free moving plans at affordable prices”-but they have given me nothing but HEADACHES and STRESS and HORRIBLE customer service.\r \r When I first contacted the company, Jordan gave me a great price, so I signed the contract. However, over the next couple of weeks I attempted to add items and ask questions and he would not answer any emails or phone calls, so I asked for a new representative. Katie, the manager, called and told me she would be handling my move personally. I added 30 items to my order and emailed them to Katie. I then got a phone call from a woman in the office telling me that Katie was giving me a discount on my items and I would only be charged $150 for the items. Unfortunately, I never got that in writing.\r \r The mover showed up a couple days later and the 30 items were not on his list, so I had to pay for them and extra packing and fuel which I was not told about-and the price was raise up $1500 MORE. I emailed and called Katie and got no response. However, the dispatcher said that if I didn’t agree to pay for everything immediately, our things would not be shipped for 2 weeks because it HAD to go out that night (which I later found out was a lie, because I called the driver myself who said it wasn’t leaving until the next day and he already had everything loaded and was leaving no matter what)\r \r I finally got a hold of Katie the next morning, who said that she “had no idea” what I was talking about because she had been “on vacation” and that she “doesn’t handle anyone’s personal moves” because she is a manager. She completely screwed me over and I ended up paying DOUBLE what I should have. Then, when I got my items, they had combined 3 boxes of random things into a huge box, breaking several things inside, and breaking a part of my bed as well. \r \r Leo, another manager, said that he would assist in me filing a claim against the company, but after 3 months, my claim was denied. I got a measly $42 for the broken bed while they sleep at night with people’s money that they STOLE. They cannot be trusted and will take your money!\r more

I have called everyday for the past 3 days and NO ONE can tell me when to expect the missing part of my shipment!\r \r This move has been the worse move experience I have had ever, and I move frequently. There seriously needs to be some talk of adjusting the cost for this terribly poor service and experience. How does only part of the customers shipment get to their home? \r \r Cons:\r Move team was late.\r \r Truck driver was supposed to be here on Sunday. Called and told me he had got pulled over by a trooper and forced to sit at a truck stop for 10 hours and he would not be delivering my things till the following day in the early AM.\r \r Truck driver called me back shortly after to inform me that he had only 3/4 of my house hold goods and he was unsure why or when the rest was coming.\r \r I never received a call from him in the AM and finally called him around noon. He said that he was trying to find a Chase bank and he would not move the truck till Priority 1 western union-ed him some money.\r \r Around 1pm I got a call from the truck driver he was unable to find a Chase bank but he would deliver my stuff anyways.\r \r Truck driver informed me that he picked up two homeless hitchhikers from the truck stop to help him unload the truck. I am not sure what home owner wants homeless strangers picked up at a truck stop to be in their house, though they were nice enough.\r \r They didn't come prepared and had no box cutter or knives to use to cut tape and what not. They were using nail clippers!\r \r The driver DROPPED my $800 dryer!!!!!!!!!! I still don't know if it works yet as the plug on the dryer is 4 prong and the wall socket is a 3 prong. I have Sears technicians coming to look at it tomorrow.\r \r I still have no clue when the rest of my stuff will be arriving. I called yesterday as the people delivering were leaving and received a phone call. I told the man I had to call right back. Called 14 minutes later and was told he had left for the day. When I asked to schedule the next shipment of my goods I was told to call back tomorrow.\r \r I have called everyday for the past 3 days and NO ONE can tell me when to expect the missing part of my shipment!\r \r Move with less stress ... this has been a night mare.\r \r Pros:\r Giovanni from the packing team was very friendly.\r \r Truck driver and crew were friendly once at the home.\r \r Driver moved old washer and dryer out of the way and hooked mine up it their place. more

Be careful!! This company is connected to Eco Van Lines which also has terrible ratings. Eco Van Lines has an F with the BBB. I was working with Eco but started receiving emails from people I thought were at Eco but had Priority 1 as their signature. When my furniture was delivered (24 days after it was picked up), the driver stated he worked for Priority !. I was confused as my ""binding"" estimate was from Eco and yet I had Priority 1 delivery. The truck was an old Ryder truck with yet another moving company name on it. The drivers yelled at me when I tried to take a picture of the truck. They got in the truck and threatened not to deliver any more furniture. Then they demanded that I get off of the video phone or once again they would stop delivery. I could not understand why they felt the need for me to end my phone call and did not like that they were making demands of me in my own home. They said it was against the law for me to take pictures. They did not place boxes in the appropriate room - just left it in the front room. When I called the customer service to ask for the person I had also spoken to at Eco Van Lines, the customer service representative was rude and evasive. I would not use this company as they do not keep the promises made on their website and seem to be working out of two moving companies. more

10 out of 10 4/22/2012

Our first movers let us down when he had his truck impounded just before we were due to move. This meant finding another moving company. We ended up rebooking with Priority1 Moving and I’m glad we did. We knew that we wouldn’t get our things on the date that was originally agreed upon with the 1st moving company. But Priority1 Moving assured us that they would do their best to get our move as close to that date as possible. Sure enough just a few days later Priorty1 Moving contacted us so say our items had been picked up and was on their way. The delivery came within that week. I can’t thank them enough for all the hard work they put in. My only gripe was that it was not immediately clear to me how I was supposed to pay the rest of the bill after paying the deposit. Apart from that a great move all round. more

Priority1 Moving 4/19/2012

Priority1 Moving provided excellent contact throughout my move. The price change was quite understandable as access to the property was not easy. Other companies did contact me but I realized their quotations would have to increase proportionally and in some cases on speaking to them the truck sizes were a problem, i.e. too large for being able to park in a narrow road without causing problems. Priority1 Moving was the right choice in the end and if I ever move again they will be the first company I call. more

Had a very good experience with Priority 1 Moving 4/14/2012

Had a very good experience with Priority 1 Moving. Our movers were careful with everything, were extremely pleasant and trustworthy. We had extenuating circumstances with our move that forced our movers to come back the next day, and they worked hard to get things done. The office was also equally great - very responsive and flexible. We would happily use Priority 1 Moving again for our next move. more
