The Greater Rochester International Airport located in Rochester, NY is considered a mid-size airport. To me its a small airport with alot of comfort!
The airport is situated on 1,200 acres.

The airport has many positive features... Its small enough where you don't have to feel rushed to make it to the next gate or you'll miss the plane- If its a layover.. but large enough to have alot of great things inside.
There are ATM's, a postage machine for stamps and mailing items. Lots of food vendors:
McDonalds
Famous Famiglia (Pizza)
Euro Cafe
Red Osier (OMG--- the best roast beef sandwiches!)
Subway..
and they have 2 bars/lounges..
Players Sports Lounge
Genesee Pub & Grill... Both usually have the football game on during football season! or other sports and news!
They have 2 shops:
Discovery Channel - In case you forgot to get that special child something... Grab it here.
Hudson News- For the reading and snacks!
The airport also has a business hub- Frontier Business Hub... They have both wired and wireless internet here- data ports, and phones and each station is an individual work space.. First come first serve-
They also have a conference center to have your meetings in. Like most of the larger airports.
I have to say that when I fly out of the area- Rochester is a bit more usually than Buffalo airport. It just depends on where I am and how much more before I decide which to use.
There is alot of parking here too-
Passenger drop/off and Pick/up
Airport Valet Service- (New) Drive up drop off your keys, they park it for you--- when you return it is brought back--- this is nice if you tens to forget where you park like me! Price is $20 + $12 day.
Short term parking- First 30 minutes are free
Long-term parking
Weekly parking $10.50 day or $50 week
Airport shuttle- This is nice-- you park your vehicle in a lot that is secure and catch the shuttle over to the airport. $6.00 day!
What a great airport this is....
