Unique Thrift Stores

Worst employees ever!! The first time I went here I loved it, but thought the younger employees were rude..Well I went a few more times and every time I would come in I could never get someone to help me see something behind the counter even though 'the group' of about 5 young mexican girls all they do is sit behind the counter speaking in spanish (actually pokeing fun at customers). And when you ask them for help they ignore you. The prices are too high and now I know why, its because they have people like this working for them. There are alot better stores out there then this one, just do a little research and you will see they are close to Joliet. My vote is to not go here, they are rude,and VERY over priced even on 1/2 price day!!! more

The prices are way too high for a thrift store, as is Good Will. Shop Unique Thift Store on Mondays only to actually get a goog bargain. Salvation Army stores offer more realistic thrift prices, plus 1/2 price tickets by color each day, but you don't have to wait for the special color of the day, or Monday-like at Unique- to get a good deal. The prices at Salvation Army are so much more reasonable for thrift items. more

This resale store is very neat and clean compared to some of the ones I've been to in the past. I've bought several baby items there that were brand new. They have a wide variety of clothes for men, women, children and household items. They also have special ticket colors have offer additional money off and Mondays are 1/2 off. more

Looking for some good buys, check unique out. It's like a full department store with fantastic values. You'll surely find something there for your house, or clothing for all. The store is pretty clean, clothing is set up very nicely, such as in the women's section. If your looking for black pants, brown pants, what ever color they are arranged all together, making your selection quicker & easy. I must tell you that it can get very busy on Monday's as it's half off day. Yeap, that's right, everything in the store at half price, now that's really a savings. more

This resale store has some great finds and even greater bargains. Clothing to fit just about any member of your family as well as household items, luggage, appliances, sheets, curtains...the list goes on and on. Here, the best bargains for me can be found in their book aisle. They have tons of books and are priced very low. On Mondays, everything in the store is half-price and on the other days, they offer half -price on certain tag colors. The only con is that if an item is missing its price-tag, they will not sell it until it has been re-tagged and that only happens on certain days. more
