I have been in the hobby for 40 plus years , and have had nearly every fish fresh and salt, but when going to Ned's I find fish I have never seen nor even heard about. That's what keeps my interest up. They also have the most polite and knowledgable staff, and still are able to teach me details about care and anything else I want to know. Best fish store I've ever been to. If a fish may not be feeding properly from there suppliers they won't sell it until its good to go. You can't go wrong at Ned's fish factory. Keep up the good work guys and ladies. more

i love this place 4/20/2012

this is a fantastic store. they have a large variety of freshwater fish, and their cichlid selection is amazing. all of the fish are healthy and i've never seen any dead ones. all of the employees are friendly and know what they're talking about. you can request specific things, and if they don't have it, they'll try to get it for you. or they'll make a few other good suggestions. do not be put off by their appearance, you won't find many other places that care as much about their fish and their customers as the people at uncle ned's. also, i just love going in there for the environment. even if you leave with nothing, it's a fun place to go...i've NEVER left there empty handed. lol. more

Awesome store! 2/21/2010

In a quiet little town, this store is awesome. The staff know what they are talking about, they have lots of variety, and everything in there is very healthy. It is clean, and I never see any dead fish. My only complaint is that there isn't nearly as much marine selection as there is freshwater. To many, however, this isn't really a big deal. Pros: Very knowledgable, great variety of stock, healthy animals Cons: not enough saltwater more
