Uncle John's Pizza

On or around the 3rd of Feb 2014 my wife went online to Uncle Johns Pizza in Grand Prairie TX, it was having trouble with our address and told me to call in so I did. They took out order, address and our credit card # all is good, about 5 minutes we receive a call unable to deliver to our address out of range our card will be credited in about 2 hours, the next day no credit called them back and was told48 hours it is now the 6th of Feb and still no credit. When I told the girl the girl their website told me to call them because of an address issue the girl should have confirmed with her supervisor that the address was in delivery range before taking our order. I give them minus 5 start will never ever use them again. more

Anyone who has seen the movie ""Coming To America"" and knows the ""McDonalds / McDowells"" probably got a good chuckle after first seeing this Pizza Joint in GP. Needless to say, the name is probably the only thing that is similar about the two.\r \r I ordered a pizza from them for the first time yesterday, and were blown away by the flavor and taste (thin crust combination). For years I have been a fan of Papa Johns, and although they are above average in taste (in my opinion), they still had room to be much better on a consistent basis.\r \r Uncle John's was wonderful, and i confirmed with several friends who have eaten there before, that their pizzas are ALWAYS on point! So i highly recommend them. Pros: Great price, great taste! Cons: none.... more

New residents to Grand Prairie. We saw this pizza shop on our way back from Wal-Mart. They are quite busy on the weekends so I went to pick it up. It was still hot by the time I got it home. Pizza Hut's pizza can't compare to the quality and price here. It's only $4.99 + tax if you go and pick it up yourself. We're going to be eating lots of pizza from this place in the future. Mangia! Pros: Very inexpensive Cons: Lots of High School kids working there for the summer.....giggle, giggle more
