At Unclaimed Baggage Center you will find a lot of things you normally would not find at a thrift store price. I love going here on a regular basis. You just never know what you will find. I love shopping here at least once a week. It is so cool. I bought a camera there for less than half of what it would have cost me new. It was so new, even though it was sold at a used price. People come from all over the USA just to visit this place. They have a monopoly on the business. It is nice to be able to shop for things at such reduced prices. The items are nice and not junk at all. more

Unclaimed Baggage of Scottsboro 4/7/2006

This place has been in existence for the longest. I love going there, but don't even start to go there, unless you have an entire day to shop. I am serious. If you love thrift stores, but get tired of JUNK, then try here. It's what I call an upscale thrift store. They are very good. I love going there because it's very exciting. I love shopping there because you never know what you will find or what kind of bargains you find. People come from all over America to visit here. I love it. You will, too. more

A happening place in Scottsboro 4/6/2006

Unclaimed Baggage started out as this tiny place for the resale of unclaimed cargo from airports. You could really find some interesting stuff, if you sifted through enough junk. A few years ago, they were featured on Oprah, and things have just skyrocketed from there. It has really grown, but so have the prices and selection. You can find some rare finds for cheap, but those are more the exception than the rule. It is fun, and they do have a great selection of books and jewelry in particular. A fun place to shop when you're in Scottsboro. more

Fun to browse. 11/30/2005

Don't go to this place unless you've got all day to spend browsing. They sell items that were lost in transit–from books, clothes, and toys, to electronics, sports equipment, and of course, luggage. Depending on what you're looking for, the prices can range from cheap to expensive. Your best bet is the book section. The electronics are definitely overpriced. Be wary of the prices, but have fun browsing. more
