Stephanie McGlothlin founded Unbridled Spirit in 1993 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Besides her popular lesson programs, she also led an influential state-funded riding project working with "at-risk" and disadvantaged youth. In May 2005, Unbridled Spirit moved to San Antonio, Texas. Conveniently located off highway 281 in Bulverde, we are within easy driving distance of the city and suburbs of San Antonio.
Horse Course - Our unique specialty class! After-school program geared for total horsemanship training, classroom-style learning on various topics followed by a full-hour riding lesson. Written learning materials are provided. Horse course is available for all riders age 7 and above (including adults).Our camps are as unique as the rest of our programs. They all focus on complete horsemanship skills and emphasize safety, learning, and FUN! There's something here to fit everyone's schedule and budget. We start young horses from ground manners to riding. We train to refinement in your chosen discipline. 2 Lessons included with each month of training. Negative Coggins certificate required. Clinics - We host a variety of clinics for adults on many topics, ranging from beginner to advance.Combined groundwork and riding instruction. Bring your own horse or attend and participate with our horses. Prices vary, depending on the length and number of the session(s). Must be 14 o r older to participate.
