Beauty is a warm and fuzzy industry, but the sales staff in the retail area at Ulta, Buckhead are more, like, cool and rough. Going to Ulta Buckhead is like going to Home Depot. If you can actually get someone to help you, it's with an unsmiling, unfriendly, ""can't you see I'm busy?"" kind of answer. After coming from the Clarin counter at Bloomingdale's where the sales assoc. lavished me with attention, these ladies were a big letdown. I don't think they actually receive training in how to deal with customers. Kind of a warm body approach to staffing, it seems. And on top of everything else, the one bit of information I got from the salesperson, who couldn't wait to finish with me so she could get back to leaning on her closed register while the other assoc. took the 5 of us who were in line, was incorrect and ended up costing me $12 extra. Now I have to make an unhappy trip back to return the item. Still, you gotta love Ulta for all the beautiful products. I just wish they would at least pretend like they want you to come back!
Pros: Wonderful variety of products
Cons: Surly sales staff
