I loved it:) Got a much needed haircut from Russell and I am very satisfied with it. He consulted with me and asked me what exactly I wanted and understood what I had to say. I have fine extremely curly Eritrean hair. He cut it while it was straight and washed it and put a treatment in it bc it was dry. My hair is so healthy now and shaped beautifully. I got some fierce layers started at my chin. It was one of my best hair experiences because I felt confident in his confidence. I finally found a hair guru in mesquite, yay:) more

By chance a co-worker referred me to russell at Ulta in Mesquite, Tx.\r \r All I can say is that I don't go anywhere without receiving a compliment or praise about my color and cut. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a Zero BS approach. Convinced and Satisfied.\r \r M.Rojas Pros: straight forward and honest Cons: none so far more

HORRIBLE ULTA LOCATION 7/20/2009

Let me start by saying I am an Ulta Fan. I have shopped there for many years and will continue to. With that being said I will NEVER step foot in this Ulta again. The staff is rude and trashy. The salon shop manager has by far the worst customer service I have ever seen. I do not in any way think this is the standard of Ulta but I would not recommend this ulta location to my worst enemy. Also, do not be confused by all the Redken promoting in the salon, I have yet to find a single stylist there who is Redken certified. I think the salon manager needs to take a step back and return to basic customer service training. Pros: Ulta Stores are usually WONDERFUL Cons: Salon Manager is worst. more
