Udipi Cafe Parsippany

We went to this restaurant today and am surprised that they are still open. The waiters( there is one unique character...you have to see him), the management and everything is bad ...the waiter was cursing in front of management about how much he has to do when he was doing nothing and the manager is giving free food to everyone and apologizing and telling everyone how much experience he has and how he can run the restaurant. And the best part was when after finishing food the person comes and says that sorry it took us long cause the Dosa Batter was bad :). If you want to have half of hour of entertainment with everyone shouting at each other and management giving discounts and free food., please visit it. You will have time of your life. more

Udipi restaraunt specializes in South indian food. They have hot and steamy idlis ( rice balls) and crisp and succulent dosas ( pancakes). The sambar (gravy) and coconut chutney is fresh and spicey. The prices are very reasonable. they also have some choley (garbanzo beans) and other north indian dishes on the menu. Service is fast and friendly. more

This restaurant has a combination of both Southern and Northern dishes .I personally think this place is a crowd pleaser.Everything is so cheap and tasty.The service is friendly.But it's only vegetarian. But the food is really delicious.It has everything from appetizers to desserts you name it.You can take your whole family and I think it's great for parties too. more
