Terrible service AND the postal worker threatened to purposefully overcharge me.
I have used this post office on occasion over the past 10 years due to it's proximity to my parents' house. The service has never been great at this location as postal workers will often be milling around for 5-10 minutes, not helping anyone, despite there being a line of customers.
During my last visit, however, the service was exceptionally egregious. While I was being helped by a postal worker named Patel, another customer came up and asked if he could borrow the pen lying on the counter. Without giving it much thought, I began to hand the customer the pen, which caused Patel to flip out. I asked Patel if he was in a bad mood, to which he replied that he could and would make up fictitious charges and add them on to my order. Now I have to speak to the manager to find out if he overcharged me or if he even put my envelope in the mail.
In the future, I will avoid using USPS as much as possible.
