Ok, I'm not here to bash or complain about his company but I had my items weighed by a local jeweler and got a price quote from one of their telephone specialist: 30 grams of 14kt = $580\r When I visited their Midtown walk-in office, the gold buying specialist gave me a quote of: $533\r \r I understand the mkt fluctuates but the prices were steady the whole week...regardless, that price was still higher than any other gold buyers and I was paid on the spot in cash...overall, I'm satisfied. With gold prices on an upward climb above $1,100 per oz., I finally decided to sell my gold to: US Gold Buyers, Inc. ABC Channel 7 News was there 11/17/2009

After hearing about soaring gold prices, I decided to finally bring in an old jewelry box that my grandmother had given me years ago. When I walked into their office in Midtown Manhattan, I was shocked and surprised to see ABC Channel 7 News filming a segment on this company! All I can say is that you know this company is reputable and legit if ABC was there!! I got the highest prices for my gold scrap. It was quick, confidential and easy! I'm originally from Upstate but recently moved down here since the start of the summer. I wanted to sell some old jewelry that I've accumulated throughout the years and what I discovered by researching U.S. Gold Buyers was that they offered to pay me 2-3 times more than the local pawn shops in my old town...the disparity in their offers was ridiculous! But I soon realized that pawn shops are like middle men -hoping to make a profit by buying from you and selling to the dealers! Why go to the ""middle men?"" -go directly to U.S. Gold Buyers and receive the highest prices for your items...I'm really glad I did!
