I ordered 2 copies with lamination. I wanted both sides to have the image and explained to the owner the copies would be going up in my window. When I went to hang the copies in my window I noticed that the copies were not done in the same area of the paper and therefore you could see the front image from the back and vice versa. One image started at the top of the paper and the the other image was lower on the paper, they looked ridiculous and distracting. I thought the store would make the copies again correct the problem. When I went to pick up the copies I was told by the store owner that they were only able to copy the image on one side. He then told me he did not charge me for the copy paper ($1.40 each) but would have to charge me for the lamination charge for each copy ($3.49 each). I asked how he thought this was fair, as I had explained to him that the copies were going up on my window and he being the ""professional"" should have noticed that the off center images would not be suitable. The owner then got very rude with me, saying that he made what I ""ordered"", that I looked at it, took it and paid for it. He also felt it necessary to point out to me that he ""did not get his supplies for free"". I again explained my position that ""he"" should have realized the images would show through if not uniform in placement. This man did not budge an inch. I am shocked that an owner of a local business, one that touts itself as a ""neighborhood location"" would quibble over such a small amount of money and provide such unprofessional and rude service to his ""neighbors"". It is ridiculous for this owner to make such a big deal and lose a customer over exactly $6.98, of which the majority is profit. I could understand if it was a costly, project but such a hard stance over 2 lamination charges? This owner and location is not the friendly neighborhood store I am accustomed to and I would highly recommend taking your business to another UPS Store that is.
