Large and Bland 5/21/2006

While there is plenty of seating and parking, U.S. Cellular field has very little personality--it could be any team's stadium. Many food choices available, but the selection is more of a distraction than anything--expect to spend at least 10 minutes in line and another 10 minutes maneuvering the crowds. Overall pretty clean, including the bathrooms--the wait is never that long. Take Red or Green Lines. more

Home of the World champs! 5/13/2006

I don't know, but I still call this place Comiskey Park and probably always will. I wish I had photos of the old Park but the times I was there I never had my camera. U.S. Cellular Field itself is amazing, modern, easy to get to and from the highway or public transportation. They go out of their way to entertain the crowds with everything from fireworks to tons of promotional game days. Did I mention this is the home of the winning, yes World Series winning White Sox?! more

Sox Park 5/10/2006

Want to watch a world champion baseball team play a home game in Chicago? Want street parking? Half price Monday? Half price Tuesday? $1 hot dogs on Thursday? Solid, winning baseball? World class pitchers that are pitching real (not simulated) games? Come on down to the beautifully remodeled Sox Park. You're gauranteed to not be sitting behind a pole. There will be street parking no more than 6 blocks away. more

Love the new field 5/4/2006

I knew the Chicago White Sox had it in them to make the World Series! I'm a total White Sox fan and was up and ready to attend any game I could last season. While most complain about missing the old Comiskey park, I think this one is way better. The food here is so great, there's no need to hit a restaurant up afterwards. The enigma of the fans is still with this stadium and you definitely feel the rush as the Sox slam those homers. Now I can't wait for another world Series game! more

Miss Comiskey 3/12/2006

This place is more of a grand buffet than a ball park. While it has countless delicious choices of game food and gourmet food, it lacks the personality of the old Chomsky. The brats are fabulous, and I would consider getting game tickets just so that I can eat, but for a park that hosts the world champions of baseball I would expect a little more style. You can barely see the game unless you are right in front, so you’ll find many of the fans in the upper deck leaving their seats to shop in the “mall,” or of course chowing down on the scrumptious eats. The place isn’t really fan friendly for those who want to watch the game. Although, I heard they did some improvements, I was unable to see a difference last season. more

newly renovated field 8/19/2005

This place was formerly known as Comiskey park. But now it has been totally newly renovated and is now known as US Cellular Field. It is very nice now. The architecture of this building is great and if you visit this place for a game, you will enjoy the food and the fun. Parking here is plenty, but can be expesive. So if you can take public transportation, that would be a great option. Go check out this newly renovated field! You will be sure to like it. more
