I received a quote for a replacement a/c unit as mine quit. I was given a quote and then noticed they offered financing. They increased the price of the unit because I chose to finance it. That should have been my first clue. I was promised a 10 year parts and labor warranty from Trane. I received a 5 year warranty. When I questioned it I was told they would need to talk to Trane and get back to me. I waited all week (5 days) and no one called me. I contacted Tyndall again and was told that Trane "changed their policy" and only offers a 5 year warranty now. I spoke with Trane who told me that they have NEVER offered a 10 year warranty on my type of unit. Tyndall just claimed that did not know that. I paid a lot more money for this a/c unit because I was going to get a 10 year warranty. All Tyndall said is sorry and offered me a $100 back. I could have gotten a unit for less money (about $800 less) and now I wish I would have. more

I found the gentleman that I dealt with at Tyndall to be extremely reliable and extremely honest. He was very punctual and followed through with all the times we set up. It was pretty straightforward, to the point, and there were no hidden fees or surprises. It is one of the last honest heating and air service place you're going to find around. Home waranty sent Tyndall HVAC to check my furnace. He told me what needed to be replaced and my options. I decided to replace the furnace with Tyndall because he's been out to my house before to fix my air conditioning and I feel he did a good job. When it came time to replace the furnace, they were there ontime and did everything quickly and efficiently. more

I used Tyndall HVAC when switching my old air conditioning to an updated model and now have a contract with them in order to have maintenance done every six months. Not only did they give me the best quote, Tyndall HVAC was the most informative company and successfully guided me through a process I didn't know much about. I dealt with Pete and he was always prompt in replying to my many questions. He was pleasant to deal with and thorough in his work.
