I had Lasik surgery in 2008 at Dr. Gary Tylock who seemed knowledgeable at the time. He told me being out of my gas perm. contacts for 3 weeks would be enough time for my eyes to relax prior to surgery. I have since learned that for every decade you are in gas perm/hard contacts, you should be in glasses for 1 month to allow eyes to return to the original shape so I should have been out at least 2 months. After the surgery I have figured out. The doctor should have known this as now I do not see well at all and will have to do this surgery again. (with another doctor of course)
Pros: nothing
Cons: did not repair my vision, made it worse
